BREAK-IN PERIOD FOR ZEV SLIDES AND GUN CUSTOMIZATIONS

Your ZEV Technologies products will enhance your shooting experience with match-grade materials and precision tolerances. To get the most out of your ZEV purchase, please understand that your ZEV slide and/or gun customization requires a “break-in” period for optimal performance.

Be sure to fire at least 250 rounds of commercial ammunition (not reloads) upon receipt of your order to facilitate full slide-to-frame compatibility. During the break-in period, an occasional failure may occur (failure to extract, failure to load, failure to fire). If you experience any sort of failures after 250 rounds, please contact ZEV Customer Service for troubleshooting tips.

NOTE REGARDING COMPENSATORS:

Compensated builds must use ammunition specific to the pistol/compensator and are recommended for expert shooters only. Standard commercially available ammunition may not be suitable. Please use ammunition recommended by an ammunition expert or contact ZEV Customer Service at 805-486-5800.
