Ship Your Gun to ZEV

You cannot use the United States Postal Service for sending hand guns unless you are a licensed FFL

For shipping firearms to Zev Technologies through UPS

Box your unloaded firearm appropriately, ensuring that there is no ammunition in the same package as the firearm, and include a signed copy of the quote you received from our customer service department

Firearms received without a quote will be immediately returned to sender WITHOUT EXCEPTION

Per UPS policy, you must ship firearms via UPS Next Day Air, or Next Day Air Saver from a UPS Customer Center (not a drop box, UPS Store, or any other location), with Adult Signature Required. You are also required to notify the person at the UPS Customer Center that you are shipping a firearm (do NOT have any markings on the package indicating that it is a firearm).

For shipping firearms to Zev Technologies through FedEx

Box your unloaded firearm appropriately, ensuring that there is no ammunition in the same package as the firearm, and include a signed copy of the quote you received from our customer service department

Firearms received without a quote will be immediately returned to sender WITHOUT EXCEPTION

Per FedEx policy, you must ship firearms via FedEx Priority Overnight from a FedEx storefront (not a drop box), with Adult Signature Required. You are also required to notify the person at the FedEx storefront that you are shipping a firearm (do NOT have any markings on the package indicating that it is a firearm).

Since FedEx requires you to notify the person at the FedEx store that you are shipping a firearm, confusion may arise if the FedEx employee is not familiar with their own policy regarding firearms. See the attached excerpt from the FedEx terms and conditions dated Oct 7 2014 if they need clarification
